Football Field & Piedmont Park Engagement Session

It couldn't have been a more beautiful day to shoot an engagement session in Atlanta.  It rained in the morning and the sun dried the ground by late afternoon, just in time for our 4:00 PM session. The temperature was in the upper 60s…it was awesome!  With a gorgeous couple and warm sunlight, the engagement session rocked!  We wandered around Piedmont Park and finished up at the perfectly manicured Grant Field on Georgia Techs Campus. 

Steve and I had a blast hanging out and getting to know Kim and Billy. We met them in January at the Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta. How fitting because the show was held at their wedding venue; 200 Peachtree! They live out of state and all of our communication has been over the phone. However, in person it was like we had known them for years! They are so much fun and so playful. You can see this through their photographs, they were cracking us up and we were all having a great time. We love it when clients are relaxed and can just be themselves in front of the camera. 

Kim and Billy's sessions was awesome and we look forward to their wedding day in May 2013!

Windermere Golf Club Wedding Photography - Brittany & Rollie

Brittany and Rollie were an amazing couple to work with. Their wedding was held February 24th, 2012 at Windermere Golf Club in Cumming, Georgia. The newlyweds were fortunate to have spectacular weather, with the temperature being in the 60's, winds wistfully blowing, and a plethora of clouds to create stunning silhouettes. By placing the bride and groom at the top of hole number 18 we were able to make them look as if they were floating in the clouds. I wish we had this kind of amazing even light for every wedding! 

This lively couple had a Mardi Gras inspired wedding. I'll be so bold and say that this wedding could have been even more fun than the real Mardi Gras. To bring in more of their Louisiana heritage they had a second line with music played by their DJ,  Matt from Spectrum Entertainment. The cake was literally flown in from New Orleans and cake pulls in the shapes of peaches and dogwood flowers placed inside the bridal cake for the bridesmaids. It was a great wedding rich with tradition and Louisiana culture.

Steve and I seriously had the greatest time shooting this wedding. It was such an honor to partake in the joy, laughter, sincerity, delight, and of course, love with Brittany and Rollie on their special day. We wish a long life of utter happiness for you guys!
